A single seamless sheet of rubber that flexes with the building and shrugs off UV, frost and standing water. EPDM is one of the toughest flat-roof coverings there is — and it's ideal for static caravans too.
EPDM rubber is a proven flat-roof material: a single, seamless membrane laid in one piece wherever possible, so there are no joins or seams to split. It stays flexible in the cold, doesn't go brittle in the sun, and copes happily with the standing water that finishes off older felt roofs. Fitted properly, it just keeps working.
For extensions, garages, dormers, porches and outbuildings, a rubber roof is a low-fuss, long-life answer. We prepare the deck, get the falls right, and dress the membrane neatly into the upstands, trims and outlets so water runs off cleanly and the edges never lift.
Static caravans and park homes are notorious for leaking flat roofs once the original covering gives up. A new rubber roof transforms them — warm, dry and watertight for years to come. We scaffold safely, strip the old covering, sort any tired timber, and lay a fresh EPDM membrane over the top.
Rubber isn't the only option, and it isn't always the right one. If a fibreglass (GRP) or felt system suits your roof better, we'll tell you — see our flat & GRP roofing page. The point is you get the covering that fits the job, not whatever we happen to fit.

A well-installed EPDM roof typically lasts several decades — it's one of the most durable flat-roof coverings available, with no seams to split and excellent resistance to weather and UV.
Yes — static caravans and park homes are a regular job for us. We scaffold safely, remove the failed covering, make good the structure and fit a new rubber roof that keeps it dry for years.
Both are excellent; it depends on the roof. Rubber flexes and handles movement well; GRP gives a hard, seamless finish. We'll recommend whichever suits your roof and budget.
